SDX Web3, the crypto asset infrastructure provider of SIX, today announced the launch of custody and staking services for Avalanche (AVAX).
Avalanche is a prominent and fast-growing proof-of-stake network, yet institutional staking support for AVAX has remained limited outside the US, including in jurisdictions such as Switzerland. SDX Web3 is excited to be one of the first institutional custodians in the region to offer integrated AVAX custody and staking enabling clients to earn rewards on their holdings while leveraging SDX’s trusted institutional Web3 custody infrastructure.
This launch also reinforces SDX Web3’s commitment to supporting new crypto coins and capabilities for our clients. In addition to AVAX, SDX Web 3 supports custody for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), Ripple (XRP), USD Coin (USDC), and staking services for Ethereum (ETH), Cardano (ADA) and Solana (SOL) with further expansion planned based on market demand.
This announcement reflects the broader ambition of SIX Group to enable the future of finance through trusted digital infrastructure. As part of SIX, SDX Web3 is dedicated to delivering secure, compliant, and forward-looking crypto asset solutions that meet the evolving needs of institutional clients across Switzerland.
