We are proud to announce that SIX Digital Exchange will support Banque de France, Swiss National Bank, and BIS Innovation Hub, in their experiment using wholesale central bank digital currencies (wCBDC) for cross-border settlement on a DLT platform.

The “Project Jura” experiment will involve the exchange of French financial instrument against a euro wholesale CBDC through a delivery versus payment (DvP) settlement mechanism and the exchange of wholesale CBDC against the Swiss franc wholesale CBDC through a payment versus payment (PvP) settlement mechanism. It will be supported by a private sector consortium including SIX Digital Exchange, Credit Suisse, Natixis, R3, and UBS.
