SDX announces the consolidation of trading for digital assets into SIX Swiss Exchange

From 1 June 2025, digital bonds issued on SDX will solely trade on SIX Swiss Exchange, leveraging the live operational link between SIS and SDX. SDX will continue to enable the issuance, custody, settlement, and asset servicing of digital bonds via SDX CSD.

This consolidation brings key benefits for issuers, investors, and members:

  • Simplification: Issuers will now only need to apply for a single listing on SIX Swiss Exchange, removing the need for dual listing
  • Liquidity consolidation: Secondary market liquidity will be concentrated on SIX Swiss Exchange, enhancing access to both primary and secondary liquidity.

By leveraging group synergies, SIX continues to deliver customer-centric, scalable solutions, supporting the evolution of Switzerland’s digital asset ecosystem.

NB: this change has no impact on the eligibility of digital bonds for the Swiss Bond Index or the SNB General Collateral Basket—all eligibility criteria remain unchanged.
